Arthur is (truly, madly, deeply) Back!
"Truly," as in the Tennessee ABC has finally granted the license in my name; "madly," as in the sale we've posted on this website featuring crazy-low prices; and "deeply," as in there's a really deep hole that was dug here by the previous owner, who shall remain nameless, and we're trying to stanch the bleeding even as we attempt to mix metaphors involving solids and liquids.
Arthur has been on location since that fateful September day when the bankruptcy court ordered the locks changed, ordered the then-owner to stay clear of the premises, and appointed me manager for the Chapter 11 trustee. But until the blessed day last month when the court accepted my purchase offer, I was prohibited by the bankruptcy process from buying sufficient inventory and hiring the employees needs to make your experience at Arthur's (and mine) a better one. Happily, we are now on that upward arc leading to fat inventory, lean employees and low prices.
Many of you have started trickling in for a look during the past month. If you haven't, come in and see if we're not putting the pieces back into place necessary to reconstitute this great business. And be sure to share your thoughts and suggestions with us. As you'll see in the newsletter, we're not shy about sharing ours with you.
All the best!
